
KARACHI: The authorities have launched work for the construction of Gulbai-Mauripur road in Karachi.
The 5.25km dual carriageway road project worth Rs1.01 billion, is scheduled to be completed in six months.
While presiding over a meeting, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has asked the Sindh Local Government Department to construct a stormwater drain side of the road.
The meeting was also attended by Sindh LG Minister Nasir Shah, CM’s Advisor on Law Murtaza Wahab, PSCM Sajid Jamal Abro, Karachi Commissioner Naveed Shaikh, LG Secretary Najam Shah, Karachi Administrator Laiq Ahmed, KWSB MD Asadullah Khan and relevant officials.
