
ISLAMABAD: The construction work on Naya Pakistan Housing Project will initiate in April, informed the secretary housing while briefing the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Speaking on the occasion, secretary housing briefed the committee that Rs650bn has been set aside by the government for funding the housing projects.
He added that the private sector has also shown a keen interest of investing Rs830bn in the various housing projects.
The housing projects are being developed to provide affordable housing to low-income families.
