Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the concerned authorities to take possession of Sector E-12 within three weeks.
After prolonged efforts of allottees for the development of the sector, a writ petition was filed in the IHC for it to take action.
Nazir Hussain, Coordinator, Action Committee for Development of Sector E-12 has made a request on behalf of 4430 allottees. He has appealed to make sure that possession and development of the complete sector is done at its earliest. This also includes the development of its four sub-sectors.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad Amir Ali Ahmad and officers from CDA and ICT are making efforts to manifest orders of IHC in the earliest of time. Necessary funds for the fiscal year 2019-2020 may also be managed, however auction of the commercial area of the sector can generate greater funds than development charges, said Mr. Amir.
