Every citizen who is above the age of 18 years and holds a National Identity Card (NIC) can register for vaccination. In the initial phase of the vaccination drive, citizens above 60 years were inoculated; however, the government has extended vaccination services to all age groups above 19 years with time.

Registration Procedure

To register for COVID-19 vaccination, follow these simple steps:

  • An individual is required to send their CNIC number to 1166 from their mobile, or they can also register at nims.nadra.gov.pk
  • After sending the SMS, the sender will receive a confirmation message regarding registration.
  • The PIN code, date and further information regarding the vaccination centre will be informed through another text message.
  • In the second shot, a message from 1166 will be received after three weeks of getting the first shot.

Walk-In Vaccination

The government has also introduced a walk-in vaccination facility for citizens above the age of 30.

Citizens over the age of 30 can send their CNIC numbers to 1166 for registration and get themselves vaccinated by walking into the nearest vaccination centre.
