CPEC significant project for Pakistan’s economy: Hammad Azhar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Industries and Production,  Muhammad Hammad Azhar, on Thursday, asserted the significance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for Pakistan to accomplish economic prosperity.

While chairing the meeting, Hammad Azhar informed that CPEC will help enrich the industrial production, revamp energy and communication infrastructure and develop connectivity within the region generating employment and investment opportunities in Pakistan.

As per the details, the Chinese Ambassador also emphasized CPEC to be of immense importance in strengthening economic cooperation for achieving common objectives that promise a prosperous future for both nations.

Chairman CPEC Authority Lt. Gen (R) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Federal Minister for Privatization Muhammad Mian Soomro, Federal Secretary Finance Division and Federal Secretary Privatization Commission, and Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China Nong Rong attended the meeting.
