
Lahore: While chairing a meeting, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar directed the concerned departments to finalize the strategy for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as soon as possible to get the maximum benefit out of CPEC projects.
Usman Buzdar said the Punjab government was establishing Special Economic Zones (SEZ) s. Investment from China in these zones would be welcomed. CPEC would encourage economic undertakings which would create new employment prospects.
The CM said to make the CPEC Cell more effective. It should be expanded in the P&D department. He further mentioned the contribution of China for overcoming poverty and said that collaboration will be further made use of in varied sectors from energy to agriculture, education, energy and vocational training.
