DC Multan launches crackdown against illegal commercial buildings

MULTAN: While presiding over a meeting of the District Planning & Design Committee (DP&DC), Deputy Commissioner Ali Shahzad has ordered a crackdown against illegal commercial buildings without maps.

The building projects found in violation will be issued Non-Objection Certificates (NOCs).

In a bid to promote commercial activities, the Multan Development Authority (MDA), Municipal Corporation and other relevant departments were asked to devise a joint strategy.

The meeting further discussed various commercial buildings, industrial parks and road projects and approved to launch and rehabilitation of multiple projects.
