
ISLAMABAD: Asim Bajwa, Chairman China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority has informed that the development work on Faisalabad’s Allama Iqbal Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is progressing at a rapid pace.
Taking on to Twitter, the Chairman stated that 33 pc of the total 2276 acres of saleable land has been bought by the investors.
The chairman also wrote that 182 acres of land is purchased by foreign investors and the construction work has been initiated by Pakistani and foreign industries.
Earlier, the chairman had informed about the status of development work on the 720MW Karot Hydropower project which is expected to be completed by April 2022.
