ISLAMABAD: Developmental work worth Rs309.861 million has been launched by the Capital Development Authority in sector E-12.
In this regard, the authority has floated tenders for the development work, after which approval for the estimate will be sought for sub-sectors E-12/1 and E-12/4.The concerned departments launched work to develop road infrastructure, including road network and street work, and water supply and sewerage system in sub-sectors E-12/2 and E-12/3.
The work on the service road north of E-12/2 was also started and is scheduled to be completed before May 2021. In respect to this, technical bids have been opened by the authority to invite contractors.
The authority also informed about receiving applications for the development of sector E-12 and its sub-sectors by construction companies. The finalised company will be awarded work to develop road infrastructure, sewerage system, and other basic facilities
The overall development of Sector E-12 will be completed in three years, whereas the development work in the sub-sectors will be completed in one year.
