LAHORE: While chairing a meeting, all directorates were instructed to ensure timely completion of all applications submitted by the citizens, by Director General Lahore Development Authority Ahmed Aziz Tarar.
The directors was also directed to ensure all officials work according to the rules and use all resources to provide relief to the citizens.
Effective action should be taken against land grabbing, encroachments, illegal constructions and illegal housing schemes and activities in the city, he further added. The officials were also asked to plan the maintenance and repair of roads.
In addition, the Town Planning Wing of LDA took action against several illegal constructions.
