Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has successfully integrated all property records under its jurisdiction with the Punjab Urban Land Enhancement System (PLUS), a major milestone in promoting transparency, innovation, and efficiency in administrative operations.
The announcement was made by Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry during a meeting with the PLUS system team, which included Senior Specialist Software Engineer Dr Rana Hamad Hussain, Consultant Software Quality Assurance Usman Barkat, and FDA Director of IT Yasir Ijaz Chatha.
Chaudhry emphasised the success of the FDA’s e-challan system and real-time ownership clearance certificate issuance, stating that the integration with PLUS will further accelerate key administrative processes, such as the issuance of town planning reports in record time.
He further noted that the digitisation of property records has allowed several services to move online, making the process more convenient for applicants while boosting overall efficiency. The meeting also focused on finding effective solutions to administrative challenges and ensuring that the system continues to meet the FDA’s operational needs.
