
ISLAMABAD: In a meeting between Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan and officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government officials, the minister reviewed the various development projects of the province.
According to the details, the federal minister praised the officials on the rapid pace of development on the foreign-funded projects.
The federal minister also instructed the officials of the provincial government to specify the development priorities and to highlight the required finances for the projects in the pipeline.
In the meeting, both sides also agreed to enhance investment in infrastructure-related projects in order to cater to the needs of growing urbanisation. Similarly, both federal and provincial governments also agreed to enhance cooperation.
The participants of the meeting included KP Finance Minister Taimur Salim Khan Jhagra, Additional Chief Secretary (Development) KP, Shakil Qadir Khan, Economic Affairs Division (EAD) Secretary, Noor Ahmed, and other government officials.
