LAHORE: The administrative approval has been given by the Punjab government to two major projects worth Rs48.4 billion in Pindi: the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) and the Nullah Lai Expressway & Flood Channel.
According to the details, the approval has allowed the authorities to begin the tendering and bidding process.
According to a government official, Administration Approval (AA) is the final permission that gives public sector departments and autonomous entities the legal authority to initiate bidding, grant tenders and execute projects.
As per details, the AA for the Rawalpindi Ring Road includes all expenses but the AA for the Lai Expressway is restricted to land acquisition costs only because it will be executed under a public-private partnership model.
