First sanitation project worth Rs.4 billion approved for Lahore

Lahore:      The Government of Punjab has approved the first mega project (tunnel boring) for the sanitation of the provincial capital. Sources reveal that the project, which is worth Rs4 billion, will include the installation of a 33 km long pipeline from Larex Colony to Saman Abad, which would address the sanitation problems of Garhi Shahu, Habibullah Road, Davis Road, Mason Road Mazang, Luton Road and a dozen other areas.
