
ISLAMABAD: Four mother and childcare centres worth Rs.11.7 billion were approved by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet on Wednesday. The establishment of the hospitals was from the share of the Federal Government.
As per reports, Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, Industries and Production, Muhammad Hammad Azhar chaired the meeting.
According to the details, several other decisions were also made. The ECC committee approved the withdrawal of custom duties from the cotton industry to ensure steady supply of cotton and cotton yarns in a bid to bridge gap between the demand and supply.
