Government for uplifting technology sector: IT Minister

LAHORE: The Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry has stated that the uplift of the technology sector is among the top priorities of the government.

While talking to the media, the federal minister was of the opinion that the country can progress swiftly by the development of science and technology.

At the occasion, the federal minister emphasised the need of creating an environment that harnesses innovation and new ideas.

Furthermore, the minister said that the country will work with China for training the workforce related to semiconductor technology.

While shedding a light on the importance of 5G technology, the minister was of the view that 5G technology will transform the landscape of the country and will prove beneficial for technological advancements.
