The project was announced by Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed while addressing the delegation of ICCI, led by President Muhammad Shakeel Munir. The delegation further discussed matters pertaining to the business community and their solutions.

According to him, setting up a new industrial estate in Islamabad was vital for more investment, creating employment opportunities and accelerating industrialisation. He also informed Chairman CDA of problems related to leasing renewal of industrial plots and assured ICCI’s cooperation.

Both authorities are scheduled to meet on November 15 with a detailed proposal to be put in front of the government.
