
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has initiated the ‘Clean & Green Islamabad Campaign 2021’ as per which plantation, sanitation, water supply, sewerage systems, and solid waste management will be strictly monitored in private and cooperative housing societies.
The initiative is part of the ‘Clean & Green Initiative’ of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
As per the reports, reward mechanisms in the form of awards and certificates for best societies will be put in place to encourage healthy competition.
Action will also be taken against violators of bye-laws as per the law.
