
ISLAMABAD: For the safety of citizens, especially pedestrians and cyclists, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have launched the ‘Bicycle Patrol Unit’.
The ceremony was attended by the Inspector General (IG) of Police Islamabad Mr. Qazi Jamil ur Rehman and Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP), Islamabad Ms. Amna Baig.
The patrol unit will ensure safety and create a secure environment for the citizens and visitors on footpaths, in streets and other public spaces, and other recreational activities in the federal capital.
