Islamabad: IMARAT Group has started landscaping works at the PWD Underpass, marking a fresh effort to uplift the area with a blend of cultural design and modern aesthetics. The initiative reflects IMARAT’s broader vision of reshaping public spaces through thoughtful urban design.
According to the company, the landscaping plan incorporates Islamic geometric patterns and graceful Arabic arches, introducing a visual identity that echoes the look and feel of IMARAT Downtown and its two-kilometre park. The design aims to create a coherent experience across the capital’s southern corridor, offering residents and commuters a more pleasant and visually rich environment.
The project places a strong focus on greenery. New plants, shaded areas and curated landscaping elements are being added to soften the surroundings of one of Islamabad’s busiest routes. IMARAT says the goal is to make the space not only functional but uplifting, turning infrastructure into an opportunity for expression rather than an overlooked part of the city.
Company representatives describe the initiative as part of IMARAT’s long-term effort to support a greener, more inspiring Pakistan. With several ongoing projects across Islamabad, IMARAT says it aims to continue contributing to the capital’s beautification and urban improvement in ways that combine heritage, nature and thoughtful design.
