Islamabad, Oct 13: The Islamabad district administration has clarified that all roads in the federal capital remain open and routine life is continuing as normal.
In an official statement issued on Monday, the administration said that while traffic was temporarily slowed at some points due to safety barriers, movement across the city remained unrestricted. It added that Islamabad Traffic Police were actively managing the situation to maintain a smooth traffic flow on all main routes.
The administration confirmed that commercial and business activities were fully operational in all sectors, with no disruption reported. It also stated that no protest or public gathering was taking place anywhere in Islamabad.
Authorities reiterated that Section 144 is currently enforced in the city, prohibiting unlawful protests or demonstrations, and warned that strict action would be taken against any violations.
The administration urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and avoid participating in any illegal or disruptive activity. It assured residents that the overall situation in the capital remains peaceful, with police and field teams on alert to maintain order.
