Islamabad: On Friday, amidst heavy rainfall, the teams of CDA, MCI, and ICT remained fully operational in Islamabad, promptly addressing complaints of water accumulation in various parts of the city and ensuring clearance of water pooling on the roads.
It remained evident that the concerned departments of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) promptly responded to complaints of water accumulation from various locations on the helpline established due to the torrential rainfall on Friday. They ensured timely resolution to prevent any inconvenience to the citizens.
Furthermore, the joint teams of CDA, MCI, and ICT remained active in sectors under CDA’s jurisdiction, including housing societies and other residential areas, and provided assistance to residents by draining water using de-watering pumps, when needed.
It is important to note that leaves of the concerned officials were also canceled in view of the heavy rainfall. Similarly, duties were assigned to various officials at different times. Moreover, strict supervision of residential areas is also being ensured.
