Islamabad Tech Zone: PM okays Special Technology Zone Rules 2021

ISLAMABAD: In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan of Special Technology Zones Authority, the PM approved the Special Technology Zone Rules 2021.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister was of the view that digitalisation of major aspects is among the foremost priorities of the government.

The PM also directed the relevant authorities to expedite the work on the development of the Islamabad Special Technology Zone.

According to the details, the meeting also discussed the potential of technology transfer, promoting research culture, and creating job opportunities for youth.
