
Lahore: An amount of Rs125 million has been approved for the revamping and establishment of latest facilities at the Lahore and Karachi railway stations. According to Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid, Rs50 million have already been sanctioned for renovation of railway stations, while tenders for other work will be opened timely.
This will include the construction of separate waiting rooms for all travel classes and also the setting up of escalators.
