
Islamabad: On the basis of construct, run and transfer (BOT) the federal government has decided to roll out more highway projects worth Rs60 billion.
These include the conversion of Karachi Northern Bypass from a two-way lane to six-way and the building of eight highways. It also includes extension of Swat Expressway from Chakdara to Bagh Dheri by the National Highway Authority (NHA) at a cost of Rs36 billion. Project land will be purchased at a price of Rs20 billion.
