Kartarpur Corridor to cost Rs280.5 million

Islamabad: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)’s Immigration Wing has demanded from the government for the provision of enough human resource and funds worth Rs280.5 million for the functionality and development of Kartarpur Corridor.

The Ministry of Interior however has requested for an approval of Rs240.82 million for the respective operationalization and development of the corridor.

While the FIA has also requested for a go ahead of 284 new appointments from the government, the ministry has asked for the approval of 217 new appointments in FIA’s Immigration Wing.

Copies of the summary have been delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and the Establishment Division.
