Karachi: Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has devised a plan to demolish 1,955 illegal commercial buildings and shops in Karachi. Notices have been issued to owners of shops.

Illegal constructions include, 703 shops in Lee Market, 447 shops at Jubilee Cloth Market, 148 at Shah Market, 137 shops in Madina Cloth Market, 108 at Taj Mahal Market, 180 in Zeb Market and 95 commercial shops on Akbar Road.
