LAHORE: Phase 1 of Lahore Central Business District worth Rs3.5 billion is scheduled to be completed by April.
Phase 1 of the project, sprawling on an area of 252 kanal, features 12 skyscrapers, all 500ft high. After concluding the development work on phase 1, the authorities have directed to work on road infrastructure, which includes roads, footpaths, lake, pedestrian passages, electricity, parking, etc.
The 278 acres Lahore Central Business District project – all under the CBDDA’s controlled area is aimed at generating activity that will help boost the economy.
Apart from this, a plan is underway to auction the 7 out of the 12 remaining plots in the area.
