Lahore’s new masterplan to be completed in a year

LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Vice-Chairman S.M Imran revealed that the new masterplan for Lahore will include new industrial units in order to facilitate the industrial sector in lieu of growing future needs.

Speaking on the occasion, Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) President Mian Tariq Misbah addressed the issues presently faced within the sector. He also mentioned that any decision regarding the industrial units that fall under the Ravi Riverfront development project will be undertaken after consultation with stakeholders. 

He further said that the community was appreciative of the Ravi Riverfront development project and acknowledged the various benefits that came with it like the growth in the construction and housing industry along with growth in ancillary industries.
