Lahore: While new plans have been proposed for the promotion of vertical city growth, ideas to extend the height of apartments far above 80 feet have been placed into four categories. Rules and regulations for commercial, apartments, public and residential buildings will be shaped soon.
Proposal to construct apartments at any place within the city has been permitted, though suggestions to look into new zones for the construction of commercial plazas and multi-story buildings are under consideration.
Revisions will be made to the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Building Regulation 2017 and presented at the next meeting of the governing body.
