
LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) announced the establishment of Miyawaki Urban Forest worth Rs96 million at three prime locations of Jubilee Town, Avenue One and Mohalanwal in the city.
As per the sources, the LDA has initiated its urban plan to effectively plan the plantation of the forests in its controlled areas. For this purpose, a huge amount of money will be allocated to the smooth functioning of the project to ensure effective delivery.
In addition, a working paper is in the pipeline to allow the transfer of Rs96 million to PHA for the project. The paper will be presented in the next meeting of the relevant governing body for approval.
