LDA hires consultants for Master Plan Lahore 2050

LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has hired consultants, both – international and local, for the preparation of Master Plan 2050 comprising of comprehensive regional and city planning.

This was announced by LDA Chief Metropolitan Planner Syed Nadeem Akhtar Zaidi while addressing a seminar on preparing Master Plan Lahore 2050.

The seminar was attended by various stakeholders, including International consultants, architects, engineers, planners, local governmental officers, representatives from governmental, non-governmental organisations, and deans, faculty and students of various departments of the University of Engineering and Technology.

While speaking at the occasion, an international consultant Mr. Kamil Khan Mumtaz, said the authorities have been working to collect very particular facts and data, as the Master Plan is a matter of survival for the provincial capital.
