
LAHORE: The cost of 650 sq. ft. single-storey housing unit has been reduced to Rs2.224 million by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) under the first phase of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in Lahore.
The authority also approved a revised PC-1 worth Rs9.917 billion.
The cost of a 650 sq. ft. single-storey unit was Rs3.855 million earlier.
The project spreading on an area of 8,500 Kanal, will feature 35,000 housing units, and infrastructure, including road network, electricity and water supply, sewerage and drainage system, and is scheduled to be completed in three years.
LDA hired a technical consultant and finalised the Engineering Design of the apartment complex and allied infrastructure.
