
ISLAMABAD: In a meeting held between Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) along with Amir Ali Ahmed, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), CDA announced major developmental work for the industrial areas of Islamabad.
In response to the issues highlighted by ICCI, the chairman CDA assured that up-gradation works in industrial areas of I-9 and 1-10 would be initiated before Ramadan to address the highlighted issues.
The Chairman CDA while speaking at the occasion also said that a letter will be sent to National Coordination Committee on Housing, Construction & Development (NCCHCD) for early authorization of CDA Board plans regarding lease renewals of industrial plots.
Furthermore, the chairman CDA also informed that the civic authority has allocated a budget of Rs375 million for Kahuta Industrial Triangle, and development work will begin in April this year.
