
KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Tuesday announced that the monetary policy will be issued on March 19th.
As per the press release issued by the External Relations Department of the SBP, the monetary policy will be decided by the Monetary Policy Committee of the State Bank on Friday in Karachi.
According to the details, the monetary policy will be issued the same day through a press release. Presently, the interest rates stand at 9 per cent.
It was further communicated that the SBP will not be extending concessionary Covid-19 related funds to support individuals and businesses as the desired objective has been achieved.
