
ISLAMABAD: Naya Pakistan Housing & Development Authority (NAPHDA), on Wednesday, announced that a free online form submission facility will be introduced for the ease of people.
Speaking to a private news channel, Spokesperson NAPHDA Asim Shaukat Ali stated that the decision was made to allow deserving people to register themselves in the second phase to allow them to own their own houses.
He further mentioned that around 20 lac applications were registered in the first phase. Of these, only 18 lac applicants were eligible for the scheme.
The focus of the government was to make the process smooth and convenient by eliminating hurdles. Through the online submission form, the goal was to speed up the process.
According to details, the second phase of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme would put emphasis on digitisation. The official further elaborated that the areas of Lahore Islamabad, Rawalpindi, KPK, Sindh and other small areas would have houses constructed for salaried people along with low income groups.
