Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme spreads to new locations

Lahore: Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency recently held its governing body meeting, chaired by Minister for Housing Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed.

In the meeting it was decided to launch the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in Layyah, Bhakkar and Quaidabad. The receiving of applications will start within next few days. The six-member committee constituted by the meeting will be responsible for proposing sites in Lahore. Reports will be submitted once the proposed sites are visited. The Minister has directed the PHATA meeting to be held fortnightly. Amendment related work should be completed soon in order to expedite work on Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
