ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has earmarked billions of rupees for multiple development projects in three constituencies of the federal capital.
According to the details, the allocated funds will be used to improve the infrastructure in key areas such as water supply improvement, sewerage maintenance, road paving, constructing and repairing buildings, and constructing community centres etc.
As per sources, the CDA has assigned funds to multiple union councils in NA 52, 53, and 54.
Additionally, Rs 1.49 billion have been reserved for water supply, Rs 3.38 billion for sewerage and road paving and Rs 4.40 billion for the construction and repair of roads.
Moreover, constructing a community centre in Golra Sharif is part of the project list, and Rs 20.4 million have been allocated for this purpose.
Power and gas projects are also included, with Rs 950 million assigned to their development in various areas like Noorpur, Malpur, Phulgaran, Pind Bagwal, and Chirah.
The development funds will also be utilised in areas such as Kirpa, Sihala, Tarlai, Chak Shahzad, Margalla Town, Shah Allah Ditta, Kot Jandan, Golra Sharif, and Jhangi Syedan.
