NHA recommends Muzaffarabad-Mansehra CPEC link for construction

ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority’s (NHA) executive board has sent forth the PC-I for the construction of Muzaffarabad-Mansehra (CPEC Link) to the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) for consideration.
Chairman NHA Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Khurram Agha presided over the Board meeting.
As per the official documents, the Board pondered the PC-I to construct the 26.6-km-long Muzaffarabad-Mansehra (CPEC Link). The Board recommended the PC-I – Rs44.72bn – for consideration of CDWP/ECNEC.
The Board also discussed the PC-I for the road between Rattu (Gorikot) and Shounter (Kel) along with the Shounter Tunnel (81 KM). The NHA Board recommended the PC-I for the link road between Shounter to Rattu along with the tunnel at Shounter at a cost of Rs. 61.162 billion for consideration of CDWP/ECNEC.
