NOC approved for hiring in CDA, pending projects to proceed

Islamabad: A no-objection-certificate (NOC) for the recruitment of professional town planners and technical experts has been sought by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

Once the planning wing is reformed, the currently held back projects will proceed. These include regulation of housing societies, planning new sectors and the implementation of the city’s master plan.

Being the backbone of CDA, its planning wing had been understaffed. Now however, redundant directorates would be reduced. The pyramid will be expanded on the levels of town planners and technical experts. Core wings will be revamped.

The professionals will not be hired by CDA but through a third party testing service.
