Online system for building plan approval soon: CDA

Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) held a meeting in regards to replicating Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s e-permit system. The meeting was attended by member Planning Wing CDA, Member Estate CDA and officers from the Building Control and Information Technology Directorates of the civic body.

The e-permit system, will enable the residents of Islamabad to submit their scanned building plans online for approval. It will reduce disposal to a week’s time and enhance credibility of the authority.

The respective presentation has been shared by the LDA officials and the proposal is under consideration, confirmed the Director Public Relations Syed Safdar Shah.

The final decision has yet to be made keeping under consideration decisions about system preparation and its cost.
