Pakistan to receive Rs80 billion loan from ADB

Islamabad:      The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will give a loan of Rs80 billion to Pakistan, which will be utilised to increase exports and balance the trade deficit. Moreover, the loan will help Pakistan take key steps to adopt the economic reform agenda.

The agreement was signed by Secretary Economic Affairs Division Noor Ahmed and ADB Country Director Xiaohong Yang. Federal Minister Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar was also present on the occasion.
