In order to carry out this activity, mobile vans belonging to a hospital will be utilised by the authorities for the drive-through testing, informed Meeran Yousuf, media coordinator to the Sindh health minister.
The appointed doctors and paramedical staff in the facility have been provided with protective gear and equipment to combat the spread of coronavirus in the area.
While work on finalising a schedule is underway, the citizens can book appointments from 9 am to 5 pm and collect samples between 12 pm to 3 pm.
It has been instructed that people visiting the testing facility must possess certain symptoms of the virus and their travel history. Upon arrival, they will be assigned a number to inquire about different details.
Furthermore, the provincial government has announced to set up such centres across the province to cater to the citizens. Instead of visiting the hospitals to avail the testing facilities, individuals can now use the drive-through testing facility.
