
ISLAMABAD: “The government is set to launch ‘Peri-Urban Housing Scheme’ in 26 Tehsils across Punjab province in the first week of April” announced Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill, while addressing a press conference at the Press Information Department.
The total cost of a house under the housing scheme will be Rs1.4 million. It was further announced.
The first phase of the housing scheme will spread on an area of 3,000 Kanal land, where houses will be delivered on an easy instalment plan to the low-income groups.
In addition, another housing project will also be launched in Farash Town, Islamabad, next month, under which 4,000 apartments will be constructed, each costing Rs2.7 million.
