PM Imran appreciates IRW’s role in socioeconomic uplift of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan commended the services of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) in Pakistan, especially in health, education and disaster risk reduction.

The premier appreciated the role of IRW in supporting the socio-economic development of Pakistan. He shared his vision of sustainable socio-economic uplift of all segments of the society without any discrimination.

Speaking on the occasion, the IRW chief commended the premier’s vision and assured that the NGO will continue to work for the well-being of Pakistani citizens.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, while talking about the Ehsaas programme, urged IRW to become partners with the government. Earlier on October 21, the premier had announced the extension of the Ehsaas and Sehat Insaf programmes to interior Sindh.

As per details, the decision was announced during a meeting with the delegation of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) in Karachi. The premier apprised the meeting of his aim to expand the Ehsaas programme to other cities of Sindh province.
