PM Imran Khan to lay foundation stone of low-cost housing project in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Prime Minister Imran Khan has yet again launched another low-cost housing scheme under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) in Sargodha.

Under this initiative, 1,175 houses at six different locations will be constructed by the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), whereas the mortgage facility will be provided by the Bank of Punjab (BoP).

In this regard, a total of 33,528 applications were submitted, it was informed. The houses will be distributed among the applicants through a balloting procedure.

The allottees will pay the total amount of the house through easy instalments.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed (Housing minister Punjab, CEO BoP Zafar Masud.
