
LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting to review the progress of various road projects across the city.
The meeting was also briefed on the ‘Elevated Expressway from Main Boulevard Gulberg to M2 Motorway’ project, worth Rs61 billion, scheduled to be completed within 15 months.
The road projects aim to reduce heavy traffic witnessed in the city, improving the road infrastructure that will result in long-term planning of urban centres and better management.
The meeting attendees included Federal Ministers Shaukat Tarin, Shafqat Mehmood, Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry and SAPM Dr Shehbaz Gill, and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. The provincial ministers and other senior officials attended the meeting via video link.
