
ISLAMABAD: In a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on the preservation and restoration of the forests in Punjab, the PM stressed using modern techniques for the restoration of forests.
The PM also instructed the authorities to come up with a joint strategy to combat the deforestation in Punjab and preserve the existing forests.
Furthermore, the PM was apprised in the meeting that saplings on one thousand acres of land have been planted under the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami while 25,000 acres of land will be planted by 2023.
