Prime Minister Imran, while addressing a press conference, said that opening of the border crossing for 24/7 will facilitate trade in the region, as the trial period had resulted in a 50% increase in trade with Afghanistan.

He further added that Peshawar will be transformed as a regional hub of business activities, which in turn will generate employment opportunities. As soon as peace is achieved in Afghanistan, the region will be transformed. This will accommodate the trade activities to reach as far as Central Asia.
