
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to inaugurate the 7th Avenue Interchange and rehabilitation of I.J.P Road projects today.
According to details, the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) of the Ministry of Defence will oversee the execution of the projects.
As per a board member of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the civic agency is tasked with management of the ordeal which will be held at Pak-China Friendship Centre.
The 7th Avenue Interchange, designed to mirror a cloverleaf, is worth Rs1.5 billion and will have four left and right loops connecting 7th Avenue, Khayaban-i-Soharwardi, Srinagar Highway and Garden Avenue.
Similarly, PM Khan will launch the rehabilitation of I.J.P Road at the cost of Rs6 billion. The I.J. Principal Road is the major road connecting Sector I with Rawalpindi. Construction of the road will solve major traffic congestion in the twin cities.
